Shocking About True Copyright of Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse may came from originally from another person in 1920's or Walt Disney. I just learned that people who lived in 1920 to 1940's do not have accurate copyright of the artwork. They do not know what they are doing with copyright law that caused researcher copyright scholar do extra work to find truth about owner claims and hold the copyright. Walt Disney claims that they create Mickey Mouse in 1928, but a little copyright card shows differently in 1920's. In many decades years later, Walt Disney had sued other artists and sellers who used cartoon characters many time. Also, Walt Disney had took someone's money in the account. I understand that Walt Disney tries to protect their work as other artists want protect their own artwork. However, Walt Disney went overboard with copyright issues. The owner of Walt Disney probably wouldn't let it happen, but he is not alive today. Unfortunately, Mickey Mouse probably will become public domain that is really scary for Walt Disney because It had paid million dollars to hold that cartoon figure for many decades. If Walt Disney loses it to public domain, they would suffer a great loss of the sales, but they have other cartoon characters that would be helpful. Mickey Mouse is the greatest cartoon character and the best artwork that Walt Disney ever had for many decades. I hope Walt Disney resolve this issues and find truth about copyright issues.

Salvador Dalí

Salvador Dalí (Dali) has inspired me to be surrealist because his paintings were amazing and unique. Based on the popular belief about Dalí started surreal paintings because of wars and other issues in 1930s to 1940s that had impacted the world. Because his painting were so unique, his paintings made him famous and his legacy never dies. Also, Dali painted perfectly well. You will notice some of the influence in my artwork of Dali in future.

Stop Orphan Works Act

My Acquaintance has emailed me regarding about Orphan Works Act. I encourage you to discourage senators to vote this act because if you do not act to stop that from happening, your artworks would be stolen everyday and become worthless. We need to preserve our artwork valuable and the respect. Read this and follow instructions to stop that act from happening.

The new Act will expose your art to commercial infringement. It will include work from professional paintings to family snapshots. It will include published and unpublished work. It will include any image that resides or has ever resided on the internet. It will force you to register every picture you do with privately-held commercial registries. eBay Deserves It

Ebay is not good place for some artworks except collection of antique artworks because artworks doesn't sell well in eBay, but antique artworks do sell well in there. Only way to find out if it is good artwork for eBay is researching them. EBay was a greatest opportunity for people to make money for many years.

Unfortunately, eBay is facing difficulties because eBay had made so many mistakes that hurt people and other companies. Craigslist has filed complaint against eBay. EBay has used craigslist's name on the ads and tried pull users into its website. Fortunately, craigslist caught them and filed complaint against them. EBay tried proves its innocent, but it is not innocent. I am so glad that out there someone has took an action against eBay. I knew that eBay will suffer pretty soon because it had broken so many rules and hurt people a lot. It allowed people who are suspended get back in and pretended to be someone else to keep out of the radar of eBay. Also, It had suspended some people who are honest and innocent for no reason. USA government has decided cut art budgets in schools because they think all art are not very important; however, they forgot that art classes including music have helped people increased their intelligent because of creative method. Art usually boost people's creative to make everything works. Creative is key of the education. Why Government decided that Art is not important and cut the budgets that have hurt students in school? If you have an answer for it, leave comment.

Two Graphic Art Software

I would like to share about graphic software. I took the class called digital survey. I had learned plenty from the class. There are two software that would be very helpful to graphic artists are Illustrator and Indesign (similar to Quark Express). Illustrator would be perfect for the header or a title. Indesign is perfect for magazine, e-book, books, a cover of any books and magazine. I hate to say that Indesign have one limited feature is it must have same version to able to open the file for example if you have Indesign CS file, It must open in CS only, so it won’t opens in CS2 and CS3. I realized that Indesign is very simple to work with and Illustrator is fairly simple but has so many features as Adobe Photoshop.

Which graphic art software is good for you?

I would like to share with you about graphic art software should be good for you. I had used several graphic art software and enjoy them. Some of them can be challenging to use such as Corel Draw, Macromedia, and Dreamweaver. Some of them are pricey while others are free to use.

Best freeware software following are:

Bryce 5.5 (you must sign up and get serial number from http://www.daz3d.com/ to get it free.)
GIMP 2.2 (for Linux or UNIX http://www.gimp.org/ and for window users http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/)

GIMP 2.2 is alternative to Adobe Photo shop and it is better than other freeware photo editors. It has many features similar as adobe photo shop. I enjoy using it a lot now.

Bryce 5.5 is awesome program that allow you create 3D landscape and do many things that you can do about it. Also it is free for you to use it now. It is flexible and simple to use. I had been using it for years now and love it. If you want upgrade Bryce 6, you have to purchase it. It is reasonable price to get it.

I had experienced using Macromedia, they are extremely challenging but very awesome program that allow you to make excellent website, advertising banners, and other things that you can do with it for business. They are expensive software.

Adobe Photo shop are somewhat challenging but excellent program to use for photographers and business people for websites, but it is very expensive to get it.

Corel Draw Programs are excellent, but it is not popular as Adobe Photo shop. It have unique features than other photo editors. It is also expensive program.

Why do we need appreciate the art? Because arts has impacted positively in our lifetime. Arts has helped us to find out who we are and where we are from. For example, in Lascaux Cave that helped us that our ancestors lived over 20,000 years ago. Also it has very interesting stories about our ancestors and how they thought in their time. Whoever does the art often have the story or idea of the artist. Also it can be one most influenced in their life to express their feelings, thoughts, and experience. If we do not appreciated arts, then arts wouldn't be everywhere. We will always adored the buildings, landscape, paintings, designs in everywhere, and sculpture. That would remind us that there are positive in the world. We need have good gratitude in everything that we have that had been provided by world. So we can get more what we ask for and enjoy it every moment.

Pass Competitive to Creative in the Art

If you focus other artist's works and aiming to be the best than them, that is the competitive. You should think about what you want to create in the art work and come out the best for yourself and it would be good for others.

You may show it off but not be competitive with others such as being the best than others. It would put others down. Just be the best for yourself and show your talents to others.

Many artists try to mimic other artist's work that is not creative way. You should create your own style and your idea in the art work to be the best for yourself and will be good for others.

You should able to respect other artists' works and not criticize them because they create it for themselves. You should create the art for yourself that makes you happy.

I would like to share how to collect ideas to start to do paintings or other artworks.

You may start to write in the idea book (journal book, diary,etc..) what you have ideas.

It may be from your dreams, past experience, see beauty in the natures, etc....

It is best not to steal other people's ideas. Create your own style and ideas. So people can see the art as yours, not others.

It is biggest mistake that many artists usually to try mimic other's works and many people do not see it as theirs.

Work on your arts everyday.

Painting for Beginners and Essential Painting Know-How

I only know little bit about painting.

I can give you some tips that I learned from college.

If you want paint like sharp or straight line or perect line.

You need hold breath while you are trying to make perfect line. It only take few sec to do that. Repeat it until you are comfortable creating perfect line with painting.

You need make decision about color before you start to paint. Study color theory and matching colors plus personality colors. I had to weight myself with color before I paint the painting that I won the award in FCCJ.

Hopefully those tips help you to get started.

Many way to save money for art studio!

If you want save money with lights, you should buy compact fluorescent bulbs for art studio even your own home. It would save over 20% to 50% cost of electric per month.

If you need to wash something, only use cold water that would cost 90 cents instead using warm or hot water that would cost you $9.90.

Keep your room temperature 68 degree for winter and 78 degree for summer. If you are not at home, you should put 5 degree lower for winter and 5 degree higher for summer.

Clean and service your heating/ventilation/air conditioner (HVAC) unit once a year. Clean your air filter monthly. Even Ac's filter,too! It would help your health to have clean filter all the time.

Mak sure your home have insulation and sealed every walls even pipes so cool or warm air won't escape and cause wasted energy and money, so sealed and Insulation will save tons of money!

If you want extra refrigerator or freezer, you would pay $120 dollars extra per refrigerator or freezer every year. Stick with one refrigerator.

Not only for energy to save money, you can save money for water because you use it frequently to clean painting etc.. Check all equiqpments to make sure they are not leaking because leaking will waste a lot of money and water. You must fix them when it is necessary in order to save a lot of money.

I found one that would helpful for you to check for tiolet is Add food coloring to the toilet tank and see if it leaks into the toilet bowl. If it does, your toilet is leaking.

If you plan to wash with hand or something, fill water in the sink at full. so It will give you plenty room to clean. Also the fancet won't be running that would be save a lot of money.

Install the slow type shower that will save $70 dollars per year.. You could use it for cleaning related to art.

Last thing to save money, use energy star applicances.

Great way to save money and profit more from Art.

You should able to afford to buy small canvas like 8 x 10 to 11 x 16 something like that. Maybe smaller than 8 x 10. Depend on your preference. So you can do multiply paintings without costing too much money.

Buy basic colors of paintings including black and white with three colors - red, blue, yellow, burnt bumer, orchre, and brown. Mix them with them. Use color wheel or a color book for guide to help you to mix right color. Put half amount of water of the painting that make the painting more smooth and last long to run out.

Buy pencils or colors same rules as painting. Also make sure that they are well centered so it won't be break easily when you are trying to sharpening it. Use sand paper for sharpening to save tons of money. Also it will last long time.

If you buy foods such as peanut butter plastic or glass jar that have good cap opening and close to hold the air, clean it and put it on a shelf for your painting. So your paintings won't go dry and can use it again in future.

Hopefully it help you to save tons of money to make numerous paintings.

One best place to get help, gossip, or talk about specific topic is PayPerPost Forum. I had took a look at this forum and read what people are saying. Some topic are very helpful for me to learn to deal with issues such as myspace. I had read about opportunities tips that is most helful topic to learn to write better one. I did learn valuable tips from there.

Another good topic that I found is Questions and Answer topic is good place for learn about issues such as PageRank. I like this forum to do research about payperpost and bloggers to do better to write in this blog.

If you are artist and have tight budget that you can't afford to buy expensive goodies for your face or getting spa to relief stress, you don't have to because you can do that at home and buy normal some foods from store to solve your beauty problems even if you are a man, it will work for you.

Can you afford to buy olive oil? If so, use it for as a lotion to help your face to keep moisture all the time. Apply the olive oil with finger tip on your face. Do that every night especially after shower or wash face. You also should do that after you get home from activities, work, school, or visiting friends etc... because wind or cold cause your face go dry fast. I used olive oil for several days and my face finally felt soft and smooth. It is no longer flaky and peeling. Olive oil won't cause acne or pimples.

If you are feeling old or your phsyically aging faster than you thought, maybe you were under a lot of stress or being depressed that is major cause. Another cause is sunburn. Take a warm bath (no hot bath that will irrirate your skin), take a long deep breath like you are taking air into your tummy, replace negative thoughts to beautiful scene in your mind, do artworks that keep your mind off from stress, and talk to someone that you trust completely that will relive your stress.

Keep yourself from sun often from 10am to 3pm or 4pm. You should use protection suncreen all the time (minumn spf 15 is required). Do that all year even in winter. That will stop aging faster and you would look good for being an artist.

Also you need drink a lot of water at least 8 cups to 2 litres. You can try drink 4 cups in the morning before meal. Also do that in lunch and dinner time that is equal to 12 cups that will be a big help and keep your skin moist all the time.

I did test them myself before I write this. It worked for me and it matched my budget limitation.

If you have no foods nor money to get foods, I would recommonend you check church community or ministries to get free foods. Often they would offer you good foods but sometimes they give you foods that you hate. best way is give to other people who would like the foods that you hate. It is more like it is sharing.

I hope this important tip to help you out.

If you want know what I am planning to do while people is talking and leave me out, I would do drawing in this event. It is another trick to keep you occupied and your drawing skills improved.

Met another Artist in Flea Market

One guy who is seller also does paint. I saw some of his work. One of his work with a long canvas has captured my attention because this work have very good color and details. I had chatted with him for short moment.

He knows signing that is good way to communicate with seller plus being an artist. He was kinda of still learning in ASL. I understood him most of the time. He have his own style of the painting and people loved his work because I saw people went into his shop and bought his painting.

Sell in Flea Market

Is it good idea to sell the arts in Flea Market? That is my question that I cannot get an answer. I just must try it myself to find out.

I had walking further and looked almost every shop and noticed that two gift ideas stores are going out of business. I wondered why. Is it too high price for lease, nobody buy them, or something happen to them that is very tragic. Nobody knows unless you ask them.

I noticed that people like to shop in sunglasses, knives, foods, haircut, fast food center, and cheap need things. I bought two light blubs that is more natural than regular blub and one filter mask. They are very highly demand.

So, I might have to find those type products to bring customers in if I am selling in Flea Market. Maybe I could do portraits for people. Who knows if it works. This Flea Market is more for baragains for people to buy. So I have to sell cheaper price.

I have to go back there to find out more what people like best. I suggest you go to your local Flea Market to see what people are looking for and interested to buy. That will give you some ideas to get hot products and sell them. It would be good profit for some people.

Completing the artwork needs a signature all the time, it is essential to sign when you are completed with your work or your artwork would be worthless if it has no signature.

You should take a look at Pollock, Picasso, Leonardo, Michealango, and Van Gogh who always put signature on their artowkrs that is the reason their works are worth million dollars now. If you forgot to sign your artowk, I suggest you do that now before it is too late.

This lesson is valuable for you to learn.

I feel that I am little out of practice with drawing but I am commiting to improve my drawing skills again. I need those so I can start creating new arts.

I am going to try my best to draw all necessary things in real life instead using photograph all the time. I only use photograph as reference.

So you should draw dialy events in your life to help you to create good arts and keep them for reference in future. I will do same.

Are you being inspired to enable your talents again?

Have you ever went through difficult times such as losing confidential by rejections or tragics. It happened to me. I stopped doing art because I wasn't happy for a while.

After a major change, I finally found inspiration to encouraged me to start more painting and drawings. I finally am happier than ever now.

While you are in difficult times, you need to find a way to be positive and find a inspiration.

How did I find inspiration to paint and draw is I found inspiration in church. Pastor gave me a great picture of Leaves and plug in to Jesus. It was a huge picture in my mind that gave me best understanding ever I had. Even I saw light in my mind. Now I am very motived to do many things that will help me to be successful.

You can always find your own inspiration such as celebrity or best memory in a place or with one person. It could be anything. You will know when you find one.

My Experience with PayPerPost

I started doing payperpost posts in August 24 and really loved it because it is the best and easiest method to make extra money. I found PayPerPost in Association Articles site. I made extra money by writing and got paid a month after joined PayPerPost. I am going to use the extra money for Christmas gifts and other needs.

I remember I was browsing in association articles to find good articles to read and wanted to learn new things from people who write in there. I found one article about PayPerPost and read about it.

I was extremely interested and went there and joined PayPerPost. Lucky, I had a blog before I found out about PayPerPost so I was eligible to be member of PayPerPost. They had approved my blog in a couple days.

Therefore, I started to doing PayPerPost posts and got paid one month after I became member of PayPerPost.

After I started to write almost everyday with my regular posts along paid posts with PayPerPost in a month later, I got first payment in September 24 and still getting more payments. I had been paid over 330 dollars now and will get paid over 270 dollars within next month.

I am saving extra money that paid from PayPerPost for Christmas and other needs. I want to use those money to give my family and few friends with good gifts that I never able to afford to get for them for long time.

Also the extra money helped me to pay bills if there is unexpected bills appear in mail such as hospital and credit card bills. Also it would help me to pay high cost bills such as multi domains.

Plus the extra money will able to cover my future plans expenses such as travel, out to eat, or party with some organization and doesn't hurt my income.

I am going to continue to write in regular posts and paid posts for long term unless major changes occurs. I was thrilled about PayPerPost when I learned from Association Articles several months ago and enjoyed PayPerPost as member.

Have you ever bring your artwork and feeling that the artwork wasn't good enough in the deadline for art gallery. Suddenly, people barely know you and were very impressed with your work and telling you it is so beautiful.

It helped boost your confident. It happened to me today. Maybe we see differently than normal people. I often want my artwork be perfect all the time.

I spend hours to make sure that the artwork is almost perfect to impress yet I never feel satisfied. If you have similar experience like I am having, share with others about it that will help me and others a lot.

I would like to announce the event for art. If you are familiar with FCCJ campus, you would probably will find it easier to go the event that I am going to announce.

My painting will be in the art show at November 1, 2006 at 5 o'clock evening until 7 0'clock evening. The art show is about international or multiculture. My painting represents the deaf culture. The title is Living in No Sound.

New tips for painting with acrylics

I learned something from TV show today about creating clouds and trees but it applies other things, too. It was from Jose's show on WJC channel at 2pm.

I learn one important lesson, you need put one full color first, usually darker is first. So if the cloud, it would be gray, later on you can sightly apply white then use large brush to blend gray and white to make look well blended like in real life (use left to right straight so it will be more smoothly.

So I applied this lesson to my painting for "trapped in fire planet." It works with orange clouds and black sky. Also it did helped with the lava that I put it with too many details. Now I understand how to put good details on the painting. I ll show you the completed artworks.

Are you being interrupted with your art plans?

Have you experienced that your apartment landlord or something has interrupted you while you were working on artwork or plan to finish before deadline for contest? If so, I am experiencing it, too. You are not alone.

My apartment landlord requires everyone to do some errands before inspection even I have to do some changes that will harm my artwork studio and I have to put my art hold to fill the requirement before inspection.

I am upset about it but I have to do it to keep my shelter. So I must adapt with it and find a time to complete my artwork before deadline for contest. Sometimes it must be frustrating although it is the life.

I wish I can afford to rent studio so no one can interrupt me while I am working on artwork to complete for school, contest, or work.

I have and I am still being stuck with ideas about halloween theme for art because I have too many things my mind.

I have to sort them out before I make a final decision to choose right ideas. You just have to write down what you have ideas on your own paper or your own diary that is only way you can figure it out.

Another way to gather ideas is look around your room or look at all old pictures even halloween night pictures that will help you figure out with a idea.

You just have to be completely unique than others so keeping your ideas secret until you are finish with the artwork to pevent from other people copying yours.

Repeat artwork with enhanced color and texture is lazy

I learned valuable lesson from one of my best friend. I shouldn't use same artwork over again and again with different color and texture unless it is absousently necessary such as contest require color or something.

For example, if I have one abstract ocean and I mix it with other artwork called pyramid that would be considered lazy but it wasn't my intention for making it looks lazy but it is the valuable lesson that I learned. You have to create completely different ideas.

Have you heard many artists does weird painting or their actions that would offends you.

I found an artist who like to take a shot at himself but not really going to try hurt himself. He just want create a picture or art about it but he accidentally got himself shot in his arm. This artist is Joseph Bueys. He felt guilty as being German and spend the rest of his life to apologize about being German. He is not well known though.

Another well known artist is Van Gogh, He cut his ear himself to show his girlfriend as a gift and show her as his love. There are many more weird artists in thorough history that you will find it is offensive or very strange.

In 1980s, there is a famous woman artists to do huge flowers that make it looks exotics that has offended million people and made them angry. Her name is Georgia. She was brave artist and continue to do the art because she believe in art.

Sometimes your artwork may look like something else like my very old artwork that was skateboards. Nobody has told me what it look like but they did laughed about my art when I was 17.

I never knew about it until I took a look at the oldest artwork recently and finally realized that it look like some penis! hahaha. Be careful what you are drawing because sometimes it can turn into something else that you were not intended to do that.

Do you purchase graphic art softwares and can afford them? If you can't afford to buy graphic arts, you can find alternative freeware graphic arts.

I did do research and download one that is best and very similar to adobe photoshop, it is GIMP that I use now. Now I can do more graphic arts for websites and create new artworks.

GIMP have different method to get things done than adobe photoshop does. I think GIMP is good for all computers even old one, too. I use Pentium 2 and 256 memory mb laptop. It works great. It is completely free.

GIMP have multiple windows opens same as adobe photoshop, bit complicated but it is best for professional and experienced graphic artists.

Is painting and other medium art very relaxing?

Yes it does. You just have to focus what color, perfect lines when you are painting. There is no worries in your mind because painting take everything out of your mind and make you more focus on something.

Drawing does same for you. Remember I wrote about right side of the brain vs left side of the brain. Your brain just naturally switched to right side the brain, so you forget everything what has worried you or stress, you just take a really breath and relaxed.

It is the best medicine for stress. So try paint or draw for an hour, you will felt relaxed. I did painted today, I haven't felt that relaxed for long time. I needed that medicine.

How light effect forms?

It is the common rule to make a good form, you need have darkest shade to lightest shade although you have forgot the rule about light touches the forms.

If you put lamp on front, the light will touches all objects at the front. If you move the lamp to left side then the light will touch left side of the objects. Even if you move, the plane of light and shade changes, too.

Using color for structure

It is about positive and negative space. What is positive space? It is a form or object (e.g. tiger, house, ball). What is negative space? It is out of the form and object. (e.g. sky, grass, cloud)

To make a complete work is 30% negative and 70% positive that how I did with my artwork. To success a full realism landscape to look so real. If you have a object is closer, it is larger, more bright colors.

Farther object, lighter or dull color and colder. Also it is smaller. The background should be contrast color and intensity plus look sharper.

Most artists prefer overlay objects to make more interesting like I did with two paintings. Odd is better chance to make artwork more interesting.

Estimating a color's value

It takes practice for you to know color's value by reading colors. Often you may have ignored hues and intensity to color's value. It is a problem. You need look at hues and instensity, too same time you see value.

You just have to keep practcing with it all the time when you see everywhere. If you see green plant, you need see further to see if it have hues, intensity, and value colors and scan it until you understood how colors get together and be related.

I will discuss in new part two next. It may get little complex but it is good challenge for learning.

4th lesson pencil color

Theory and Knowledge of Colors

It is the most difficult lesson. I had spend time to read about it and have experienced with colors in years. Plain and Truth about color, White light make colors.

If night time come by, you cannot see any things outside that have color unless you use flashlight right? When daytime come by, you see everything that have colors to make beautiful day.

Colors can change based on color lights for instance, yellow light can change painting into yellowish. So you need to acknowledge that.

there are name of colors to make a painting full of colors.

Hue, chroma, value, chroma, tones, neutral, tint, shade, bright, and light.

What is hue? It is blue, red-violet, and yellow. human is very sensitive to yellow and least sensitive to red. They only see cherry-red instead full red.

Intensity is a bright color without a mixed color. It is not "light"

Light is tint; whiter

shade is value; darker

chroma is dullness and darkness

neutral is tones; mixed with all complementary colors like nothing color.

The most important about color in this lesson is color temperature. If you see something orange, red, and yellow, they are warm. If you see purple, blue, and green, they are cold.

It also show emotions, too. Warm usually meant angry, excited, very hot, melted, and happy. Cold usually meant cold, dull, depression, sad, freezing, and blue day.

You can do several assignments to see if you understood this lessons.

1. Make a nine-segment value chart of graduated neutrals. Get a paper and use black color pencil or your prefer medium. Mark them off 9 squares but ensure each square have different value. a hint, first one is darkest and last one is lightest.

2. make two wheel color on your paper. One you need just make a circle with pencil, a hint yellow, yellow-green, green, blue-green, blue, blue-violet, violet, red-violet, red, red-orange, yellow-orange. put primary color on red, yellow and blue.

2nd color wheel, do same as above but use your color medium to mark all color name into that you can see color.

3. Do two paintings or pencil colors to make warm and cold colors and tell yourself how did it influenced your mood.

based on my limited time, do research for further information about color. It will help your artwork improved.

It has vertical and horization. If your art reply only on it, it would be bored and monontous. You need to add line curve similar as a U.

Yes and No. In through history that women were ignored and less valuable and it was only for men. I feel that it is not right because there are million women who are very talented like me.

This generation, women finally got recongized but some market still follow in the history to value women artworks less than men work's. It makes me angry. It is way it is however women have to fight for it.

I wish there is completely equal between men's artwork and women's artwork.

To make Artworks especially drawing more dramatic.

Thousands even million new artists started to draw and found the drawing looks sort of medium value, there is no darkest to lightest. It is not very dramatic artwork.

To make the artwork looks more dramatic and more interesting, you need to make shadows, and dark areas go very very dark like almost black. If the area is lightest one, you should make it as paper color similar to white.

So I suggest you start to making the shade areas go more darker and make lightest area go whiter so you will see completely contrast and finding it more interesting plus best value.

Three Lesson of Color pencil - Building color with line and tone

You can mix color just doing overlaying the different color. Also you can build contrast color to make a amazing picture by using lines with different color most of them are contrast.

For instance for contrast, dark green to lightest green or true green to crimson red. Pencil colors are transparency that can easily overlay, mix and build colors to make tension looking.

You may do two assignments to practice building color with line and tone.

1. You only mix what you see in pencil color, not name of color.

A. draw contour, it can be a form that you want to choose.. just freely draw contour with different color.

B. Try hatching and cross with combing different colors such as green, purple, blue, grass blue, and red.

C. Make a free pattern by juxtaposing marks of color. It depends on juxtaposition of colors for mix make good effects.

D. You can make one layer for one color but you can add another layer over the first layer with different color or close to first one to make a solid. When you are done with all of them, take a close to D. to see how overlays does on the paper.

2. First color drawing. You need to imagine a simple landscape that you can get details to draw different color to build lines and tones. First you need set up the landscape that you chose from your imaginary (tree should be included). You start to laying in color.

Remember different options for combing colors like you learned this lesson. Work on the drawing slowly. You need talk to yourself about what you are doing, and what is happening on the paper.

You should be very curious like scientist. Mix your colors for this landscape almost at random. You would be surprised how it formed in the drawing. Save it for further reference.

Unity

Unity is the most important in Art works because the art works display completed works. For example, one flower in the drawing, there is no background behind the flower is incomplete works.

You need put something the background to make it completed. When I was in college, my professor requested 30% negative space and 70% objects (positive space) to make a complete art works.

There is examples to make a unity complete from, Van Gogh, Starry Night. Quote from Design book "The swirling sky shape unifies the heavens. The quiet village rests below explosive sky.

What is the composition

The composition is place where your eye move through. If you place one object, your eye focus on it and don’t move that is no interesting movement. It is bored.

You should place odd numbers(1,3,5) of objects to make it more interesting. Even numbers are OK but it would show as repeat. So odd is better chances to make your eyes move through smoothly and keep your eyes stay to the objects.

My review for Anthony White Artwork.

His Artworks has sold to many people that is the accomplishment that he have. I think his work meant the number is the value for people to purchase.

The truth I do not like his work and I think his works are not good. I have several reason that I do not like his artworks because I think his work is real odd and doesn't make sense for me.

He just use numbers to charge people to purchase the painting that is real odd. He did good with color but the subject is not good to me. He need do more with composition and make it unique with numbers as symbol.

Just one symbol in one painting doesn't show the good movement. so I suggest that he should add other more number symbol to make it more movement. Also he should use various colors to make it look better.

He needs to read about the design book or tips in internet to learn more what make the work look better and more unique but doesn't meant anthony's work is unique, it is really way off.

Second lesson for color pencil but it is about reviewing line and tone.

In the common in drawing, that you should know about contour, hatching, and effects.

the contour only use line to form shapes and make a complete form but it has no 3D effects, it just will help you to find area to do shading on.

hatching is very dramatic type in drawing. It can be done in the drawing.

Effects is very smooth type of the drawing also it will make 3D effect.

The assigment, you need one soft leaded dark colored pencil and draw some area lines. You just press harder if it is not dark enough and make gardient from dark to lightest one. if it is white, it just paper color.

It applies same rules that you learned in shading in first time you use pencil only.

I give assigment because I would like to see you feel the work so you can get better understanding instead just reading it.

First lesson for color pencil.

Most artists tends to think pencil come first before do the pencil colors that is best method although it doesn't work. It should work same as pencil.

For instance, child's coloring book always have contour lines and you just fill out color that doesn't make the picture look good as you want it.

You should make three thumbnail in one paper so you can compare which is better for you. It should used for pencil color only. For instance, first thumbnail can be done by complementary colors and natural green. You just choose subject that you want to draw but you need put the other object for background.

To do the assigment do the three thumbnail in one paper with one same subject and with different variety of colors that you think it work best.

Today I have thought about nude issues in art world. Why artists do that? There are several reasons they do that. The reasons are inner beauty, telling world sex is natural.

You need know how to draw figure to make right portion when you do draw. I felt embrassed about it but I just learned that it is nothing wrong with drawing nudes.

If you try to promote the nude as exploit or exoctic, it will offends people or very graphic that is bad influence that is not good thing in my personal opinion.

I learned little bit about color pencils. I start with primecolor graphite because it is fair price. There are lists that you will need to start for now.

I will add more supplies once I continue work and learning more about color pencils and how to do good job with them. I will provide further tips very soon as I learn more from book and research about it.

Right now you should practice with graphite to make sure you can draw well before you start doing color pencils. It is best to use graphite hb or b for accurate portion and details before you start to use color pencils.

The best determine after you finish the work, you need recongize the subject or object, texture character, color, and details. I ll add more lists that you need determine before you finalize the work once I get further in study.

Have you lost touch in Art?

In my lifetime, I have lost touch in art because I haven't use that talent for long time. So I have to start over again to relearn about art. Mostly I have to start to draw again because I realized that I couldn't draw anymore, so I have to study about drawing, kept working on it, and improved my drawing skills. It happened to me several times. I advise you shouldn't stop doing the art no matter what situation that you are in because doing art will always lift your stress. It works for me. So you can continue improving and becoming a greatest artist.

Klimts To Be Auctioned In November Christie's will auction the remaining four Gustav Klimt paintings returned earlier this year after being looted by Nazis in World War II. "The four works, which are together valued at nearly $100 million, include 'Adele Bloch-Bauer II,' a 1912 portrait of Mrs. Bloch-Bauer in fashionable street clothes and a wide-brimmed hat.
